5 Homemade Baked Goods We Tasted From Auntie Aldoo's Kitchen

This winter we had the ultimate breakfast treat—and we’re still thinking about it. My son and I spent the morning indulging on some mouthwatering baked goods from Auntie Aldoo’s Kitchen, and let me tell you, it was worth every crumb.

Tucked away in a cozy corner of Cottam, Auntie Aldoo’s feels like stepping into a whimsical witch’s kitchen, where comfort food reigns supreme. Their pies, pastries, and baked goods are made with love using local, seasonal ingredients, and whether you're a vegan or a die-hard non-vegan, they’ve got something for everyone.

On our latest visit, we went all in, trying out a delicious mix of treats. Here's the lineup:

  • Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

  • Nutella Cinnamon Rolls

  • Netflix and Chill Bar

  • Peach Cardamom Pop Tarts

  • Cranberry Pear Pop Tarts

And yes, we had leftovers!

But, let’s talk about our absolute favorite—the Nutella Cinnamon Rolls. These buns were soft, warm, and packed with a hazelnut-cinnamon combo that was like a cozy hug for your taste buds. They were perfectly moist with just the right balance of sweet, nutty, and spicy. Seriously, we were fighting over the last bite, and we don’t regret a single thing.

Auntie Aldoo’s isn’t just about baked goods, though. They offer indoor dining, takeout, catering, and workshops, so whether you're looking to enjoy a cozy meal in or grab something to go, they’ve got you covered. You can also catch them at special events around town.

If you haven’t been to Auntie Aldoo’s yet, what are you waiting for? Trust me, your taste buds will thank you. Phone: 519-839-6262
